She has also completed Extensive Handwriting Analysis course from the Institute of Graphology, Kolkata.

She mostly deals with women’s issues and emotional problems in the elderly people. She has conducted and participated in Women’s Wellness groups held in Crystal Minds.
She was a Senior Vice President of Tara TV Bangla, and hosted her signature programme “Chhandadi ke Bolo”, which was a live interactive programme dealing with the issue of mental well-being. The viewers were encouraged to discuss their problems seeking counselling from specialists in the programme. It became immensely popular among the Bengalis in India as well as abroad.
She received the Bharat Nirman Award in 2005 and also the Rimjhim Madhur Sangeet Purashkar in 2011.
While doing P G Diploma in Counselling and Well-Being, her dissertation paper was “Communication and Inter-personal Relationship”.
