Child Sexual Abuse Prevention and Safety Workshop

Crystal Minds in collaboration with Pranaadhika of #OneMillionAgainstAbuse launched our first workshop on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention and Safety for 4 to 6 year olds on 27.05.16 at Crystal Minds.

Why did we have a Workshop for 4 to 6 year olds..

• It was not about creating panic in care givers and perceiving all unknown men as potential abusers. (There are women and same sex abusers) Rather, it was about knowing what to teach young children about being safe, in order to prevent sexual abuse.
• It was about picking up warning signals and taking appropriate action.
• It was about teaching children to communicate about situations or people about whom they felt uncomfortable.
