In this department professionals called Occupational Therapists, use assessments and intervention to develop, recover or maintain meaningful activities or occupations of individuals, groups or communities.
An Occupational Therapist helps people across the lifespan, participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). Common occupational therapy interventions include helping children with disabilities to participate fully in school and social situations, helping people recovering from injury to regain skills, and providing supports for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes.
Our Occupational Therapy department is outsourced to Nimble Kids, situated close by at Golpark. They provide therapy through sensory integration and neurodevelopment techniques to children with special needs.
